Instant Answers, Right Inside the App

ISO Mate includes a built-in AI Support Chat that helps you find answers about the platform without leaving your workspace. Ask questions in natural language and get concise, context-aware responses drawn directly from the ISO Mate knowledge base.

How It Works

The AI assistant uses a retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) approach. When you ask a question, the system searches the ISO Mate knowledge base for relevant content, then uses an AI model to compose a clear, focused answer based on what it finds. Responses include source links so you can read the full documentation if needed.

Conversational Context

The chat maintains session history, so you can ask follow-up questions without repeating yourself. The assistant remembers what you discussed earlier in the conversation and uses that context to provide more relevant answers.

Source References

Each response includes links to the knowledge base articles that were used to generate the answer. Click a source link to open the full article and explore the topic in more detail.

Multi-Language Support

The AI assistant responds in the language you are using in the console. If your interface is set to Spanish or German, the assistant will reply in that language while still drawing from the same knowledge base.

Built-In Feedback

When the assistant cannot find a direct answer to your question, a “Submit Feedback” button appears alongside the response. Clicking it opens the feedback form pre-populated with your question and the AI response, so you can quickly report gaps in the knowledge base. This helps the ISO Mate team continuously improve the documentation.

Accessing the Chat

Click the AI chat icon in the top navigation bar to open the chat panel. The panel slides in from the right side of the screen, so you can keep working while you chat. Close it when you are done, and your conversation history is preserved for next time.

Session Management

Start a new conversation at any time by clicking the “New Chat” button. This clears the current session and gives you a fresh start. Previous sessions are not carried over, keeping the context focused on your current questions.
