Task Management Guide

Creating a Task

  1. Navigate to Tasks in the sidebar.
  2. Click Add.
  3. Enter the task title and description.
  4. Set a due date using the date picker.
  5. Assign the task to a team member using the assignee dropdown.
  6. Click Save.

Completing a Task

Click the checkbox next to a task in the list to toggle it as complete. The completion timestamp is recorded automatically.

Filtering Tasks

  • Search by title or description
  • Filter by assignee
  • Filter by due date range
  • Filter by completion status (complete/incomplete)

Bulk Operations

Select multiple tasks using checkboxes, then:

  • Update status for all selected tasks
  • Change assignee
  • Delete selected tasks

Exporting Tasks

Click the Export dropdown and choose CSV or PDF. Exports respect your current filters.

Recurring Tasks

Creating a Recurring Task

  1. From the Tasks page, click Add Recurring Task (or navigate to the recurring tasks section).
  2. Enter the task template details: title, description, assignee.
  3. Set the recurrence pattern:
    • Frequency: Daily, Weekly, or Monthly
    • Interval: Every N days/weeks/months
    • End date: When the recurrence should stop (optional)
  4. Click Preview to see the generated task instances before saving.
  5. Click Save. Tasks are automatically generated according to the schedule.

Managing Recurring Tasks

Edit a recurring task template to change future generated tasks. Delete the template to stop generating new tasks (existing generated tasks are not affected).
