Frequently Asked Questions

General

What is ISO Mate?

ISO Mate is a project management, quality assurance, and compliance platform for development teams. It combines DevOps issue tracking, QA test management, compliance frameworks, incident management, and team collaboration in one platform.

Can I belong to multiple organizations?

Yes. Your user account can be a member of multiple organizations (accounts). Switch between them using the account selector in the header. Each organization has its own data, roles, and permissions.

Is my data isolated between organizations?

Yes. ISO Mate uses a multi-tenant architecture where each organization’s data is completely isolated. Users in one organization cannot see data from another organization.

DevOps

What issue types are available?

ISO Mate supports five issue types: Epic, Story, Task, Bug, and Subtask. Epics contain Stories, Tasks, and Bugs. Stories, Tasks, and Bugs can contain Subtasks.

Can I have multiple active sprints?

No. Only one sprint can be in the Active state at a time. Other sprints remain in the Future state until the active sprint is closed.

QA

How does test coverage tracking work?

Link test cases to user story acceptance criteria. The traceability matrix shows which requirements are covered by tests and which have gaps. QA Metrics provide coverage percentages.

Can I reuse test cases across multiple test cycles?

Yes. Test cases are reusable templates. Add the same test case to multiple test cycles. Each cycle creates its own test execution instance.

Compliance

Which compliance frameworks does ISO Mate support?

ISO Mate does not limit you to specific frameworks. Create any framework (ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS, etc.) and define your own requirements, controls, and policies.

How does the crosswalk view work?

The crosswalk view maps controls across multiple frameworks, showing where requirements overlap. This helps reduce duplicate effort when complying with multiple standards.

Billing

How is pricing calculated?

Subscription quantity is based on the number of active users in your organization. When you add or remove users, the subscription quantity adjusts automatically.

What happens when I cancel?

Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period. You can resume before the period ends without losing access. After the period ends, your account is downgraded.

Integrations

Which email providers are supported?

ISO Mate supports Gmail via Google OAuth (recommended) and any email provider that supports IMAP/SMTP (Outlook, Yahoo, custom mail servers, etc.).

Does Google Calendar sync work both ways?

Yes. Events created in ISO Mate sync to Google Calendar, and events created in Google Calendar sync back to ISO Mate. Changes on either side are reflected on the other.
