Calendar Events Guide
The ISO Mate calendar helps you schedule meetings, deadlines, and reminders with full recurring event support.
Accessing the Calendar
- Navigate to Calendar in the sidebar.
- The calendar opens in your default view (Month, Week, or Day).
- Use the view toggle buttons in the header to switch between Month, Week, and Day views.
- Use the navigation arrows to move forward or backward in time, or click Today to jump to the current date.
Creating an Event
- Click the Add button in the calendar header, or click directly on a date/time slot in the calendar.
- Fill in the event details:
- Title: A descriptive name for the event
- Start Time and End Time: When the event begins and ends
- All Day: Toggle on for events that span the entire day
- Location: Where the event takes place
- Description: Additional details about the event
- Color: Choose a color to visually distinguish the event
- Calendar Source: Select which calendar to add the event to
- Click Save.
Adding Attendees
- In the event form, find the Attendees section.
- Type an email address and add it to the attendee list.
- Attendees receive email notifications about the event.
Setting Reminders
- In the event form, find the Reminders section.
- Add one or more reminders (e.g., 15 minutes before, 1 hour before, 1 day before).
- Reminders are sent as notifications at the specified time before the event.
Recurring Events
- In the event form, enable the Recurrence option.
- Set the recurrence rule (e.g., daily, weekly, monthly).
- Optionally set a recurrence end date.
- Save the event. Recurring instances are generated automatically.
To edit a single instance of a recurring event, open that instance and make changes. You will be asked whether to update just this instance or all future instances.
Editing and Deleting Events
Click on an event in the calendar to open its details. Click Edit to modify or Delete to remove it. For recurring events, you can choose to delete just the selected instance or all instances.
Google Meet Integration
When creating an event on a Google Calendar source, toggle Add Google Meet to automatically generate a Google Meet video conference link for the event.
