Import from CSV
If you already track risks in a spreadsheet, you can bring them into ISO Mate in one step rather than entering each by hand.
Prepare Your File
Your CSV needs a header row. The required columns are title, category, inherent_likelihood, inherent_impact, residual_likelihood, and residual_impact. Optional columns include description, status, target_likelihood, target_impact, treatment_strategy, treatment_plan, owner_email, review_frequency, and next_review_date.
Validate First
- Open Compliance, then Risks, and click Import.
- Choose your CSV file.
- Click Validate. ISO Mate checks the header and every row, then shows how many rows are valid, how many have problems, and the exact issue on each problem row.
Commit the Import
When you are happy with the results, click Import to create the valid rows. Each new risk gets a reference code automatically, and any rows with problems are skipped and reported so you can fix and re-import them. When a row names an owner by email that matches a user in your account, that person is set as the owner.
