The dashboard is yours to tailor. You can choose which widgets appear, reorder and resize them, set how often it refreshes, collapse widgets you want out of the way, and drive it all from the keyboard. Every change is saved to your account.
Edit the layout
- Enter edit mode using the edit control in the dashboard header, or press e.
- Drag a widget to reorder it, and use its size toggle to switch it between half width and full width.
- Click Save to keep your layout, or Cancel to discard the changes. Pressing Escape also cancels.
Choose which widgets appear
Open Customize (also available as the Advanced option while editing) to turn widgets on or off. You can only enable widgets for modules you have permission to use. Use Reset to Default to return to the standard set and order.
Set auto-refresh
Choose an auto-refresh interval of Off, 5 minutes, 15 minutes, or 30 minutes. The dashboard reloads its summary data on that schedule and pauses automatically while the browser tab is in the background, so it does not refresh when you are not looking. Your choice is remembered.
Collapse widgets
Collapse a widget to hide its content while keeping it on the dashboard, which is handy for widgets you want available but not always expanded. The collapsed state is saved per widget.
Keyboard shortcuts
- r: refresh the dashboard now.
- e: enter or leave edit mode.
- Escape: cancel edit mode.
- ?: show or hide the shortcut help.
