Notification Preferences let you decide which categories of notifications you receive and how each one reaches you. Every category has its own switches for the in app alert, a sound, and a browser push, plus its own quiet hours window. Open the notification tray with the bell icon in the top toolbar, then go to Preferences.

Opening Notification Preferences

  1. Click the bell icon in the top toolbar to open the notification tray.
  2. Open Preferences to reach the full settings page.

Use Enable All or Disable All at the top of the page to switch every category at once.

Controls for each category

Each category is a card with its own controls:

  • Enabled: the master switch for that category. Turn it off to stop receiving those notifications.
  • Sound: play an audible alert when a new notification in that category arrives.
  • Browser Push: show a desktop push notification for high and urgent notifications in that category. Your browser asks for permission the first time you turn this on.

Quiet hours

Quiet hours are set per category, so you can silence noisy categories at night while leaving critical ones audible. On a category card, choose a From and To time from the half hour options, or leave them as None for no quiet window. During quiet hours, ISO Mate mutes the sound for that category. The notification still appears in your tray, so nothing is lost. Overnight windows, such as 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM, are supported.

Notification categories

The categories cover each area of the platform. You see a category only when that feature is enabled for your account:

  • Tasks: task assignments, due dates, and status changes.
  • Issues & DevOps: issue assignments, sprints, releases, and status changes.
  • Calendar: event reminders and calendar updates.
  • QA & Testing: test cases, cycles, and execution updates.
  • Incidents: incident assignments and status changes.
  • Compliance: policy attestations and evidence reminders.
  • Email: new emails and flagged messages.
  • Account: user and role changes in your account.
  • Workflows: workflow automation notifications.
  • Custom Objects: custom object entry updates.
  • Notes: shared note updates.
  • Chat & Messaging: channel messages, mentions, and direct messages.
  • Billing & Subscriptions: subscriptions, payments, invoices, and price changes.
  • Help Desk: ticket assignments, replies, status changes, and SLA alerts.
  • Sales: deal assignments, stage changes, and sales reminders.

The notification tray

Click the bell icon in the top toolbar to view recent notifications. Mark a single notification as read, mark all as read to clear the unread count, or delete notifications you no longer need.
