In the ISO Mate email client you read messages in the reading pane and keep your inbox under control with search, sorting, filters, stars, archiving, folders, and labels. System folders such as Inbox, Sent, Drafts, Trash, and Spam are created for each mailbox, while custom labels let you tag messages across folders. Bulk actions apply the same change to many messages at once.
View and read messages
Select a folder in the left panel to load its messages, then select a message to open it in the reading pane. Opening a message marks it as read and updates the unread counts, and you can switch it back with the mark as unread action. From the message toolbar you can reply, forward, star, archive, apply labels, or delete.
Search and sort
Use the search box to find messages by keyword, and clear it to return to the full list. Sorting supports three fields, and each toggles between ascending and descending.
- Date: orders by when a message was received.
- Sender: orders by the from address.
- Subject: orders alphabetically by subject line.
Filter your messages
Open the filters to narrow the list. You can combine any of these, and a badge shows how many filters are active.
- Read status: show all, read only, or unread only.
- Attachments: show messages with attachments or without.
- Starred: show starred or not starred.
- Archived: show all, archived, or not archived.
- Date range: limit results to a from and to date.
Your sort field, filters, and page size are remembered between visits, so the client opens the way you left it.
Star and archive
Select the star on a message in the list or in the reading pane to flag it for follow up, and filter by starred to see only those. Archive moves a message out of the active view without deleting it, and unarchive brings it back. Deleting a message removes it from the mailbox.
Organize with folders and labels
Each mailbox has its system folders, and you can add your own labels to group related messages. Labels differ from folders because a single message can carry more than one label, and archived messages keep their labels.
- Create a label: add a new label to a mailbox and give it a name and color.
- Apply or remove: toggle a label on the open message, and remove it from the label chips in the reading pane.
- Edit or delete: rename a label, change its color, or delete it from the folder list.
You can also collapse mailboxes and their custom folders in the sidebar, and drag mailboxes to reorder them.
Run bulk actions
Select the checkboxes on several messages to reveal the bulk toolbar, then apply one change to all of them. Bulk actions cover mark as read, mark as unread, archive, unarchive, star, unstar, add a label, and delete.
