The ISO Mate AI Assistant lets you query your live account data using natural language. Ask questions about compliance, DevOps, help desk, QA, tasks, incidents, sales, contacts, calendar, and notes, and get instant answers drawn directly from your real data.

Natural Language Queries Across 10 Domains

The AI Assistant connects to your account data in real time. Instead of navigating to different modules and applying filters, simply ask a question and get the answer immediately. Supported domains include:

  • Compliance: Ask about framework status, policy attestation rates, overdue procedures, and control implementation progress.
  • DevOps: Query sprint progress, issue counts by status, release readiness, and backlog priorities.
  • Help Desk: Check open ticket counts, SLA breaches, unassigned tickets, and agent workload.
  • QA: Review test cycle pass rates, execution status, blocked tests, and coverage gaps.
  • Tasks: Find overdue tasks, check completion rates, and view assignments by team member.
  • Incidents: Monitor open incidents by severity, check investigation status, and review resolution timelines.
  • Sales: View pipeline value, deal stages, lead conversion rates, and upcoming activities.
  • Contacts: Look up contact details, company associations, and communication history.
  • Calendar: Check upcoming events, scheduling conflicts, and meeting load.
  • Notes: Search notes by content, find recently updated notes, and check folder organization.

Multi-Turn Conversations

The AI Assistant retains context within a conversation. Ask a follow-up question and the assistant remembers what you discussed previously, so you can drill down into details without repeating yourself. Start a new conversation at any time to reset the context.

AI Policy Writing Assistant

The compliance policy editor includes a dedicated AI writing assistant, accessible via the sparkle icon in the editor toolbar. It provides two modes:

  • Generate: Enter a topic or compliance area and the AI creates a complete policy template with sections, responsibilities, and procedures. Preview the generated content before inserting it into your document.
  • Refine: Select from quick actions (Shorter, More Detail, More Formal, Simplify, Fix Grammar) or provide custom instructions to improve your existing policy text. The refined version streams in real time so you can review it before applying.

After generating or refining content, choose Insert to add it at the cursor position or Replace All to replace the entire document.

Permission and Feature Gating

The AI Assistant respects your account’s role-based access control. Each user only sees data they have permission to access. The tools available to the assistant are filtered based on the user’s role permissions and the account’s enabled feature flags, ensuring data isolation and security.

Accessing the AI Assistant

Open the chat panel from the top navigation bar and switch to the My Data tab. This tab connects to your live account data, while the Support tab continues to answer questions about ISO Mate documentation. Type your question in natural language and the assistant responds with data from your account.
