You manage your ISO Mate subscription under Billing in the Settings menu. The billing page shows your current plan, trial, seats, and next payment, and the paid actions like subscribing, updating payment, cancelling, and resuming all open the secure Stripe billing portal.
Open the billing page
In the top toolbar, open the Settings menu (the gear icon) and choose Billing. While you are on a trial, the trial badge in the toolbar also opens this page. Managing the subscription requires the billing management permission.
The billing page stays reachable at all times, including after a trial has run out or a subscription has ended. That is deliberate, so an organization is never locked out of the one page it needs in order to come back.
Subscribe to a plan
- On the billing page, click Subscribe now.
- ISO Mate opens the secure Stripe billing portal in a new tab.
- Enter your payment details and confirm. Payment is handled by Stripe, so your card details never touch ISO Mate.
- You return to the billing page, and your status updates once the subscription syncs.
View your current plan
For an active subscription, the billing page shows the status, the number of seats, the price per seat, the next billing date, and the next billing amount. Pricing is per seat, so the plan reflects the users on your account. During a trial, it shows the days remaining, the trial end date, and the price that applies afterward.
How many users you can add
Before an organization subscribes, whether it is on a trial or has simply never subscribed, it can hold up to ten people. That counts current members plus any invitations that have been sent and not yet answered. Ten is comfortable room to evaluate ISO Mate with the colleagues whose opinion you need.
Subscribing lifts that allowance to a ceiling high enough that no real team reaches it, so from then on the only thing that grows with your team is the seat count on your invoice. Since pricing is per seat, adding a user changes what you pay rather than whether you are allowed.
Reaching the allowance on an unsubscribed organization only blocks new additions. Nobody already in the organization is affected and no data is touched. See Managing Users and Roles for how the allowance is counted and how to free up room.
View and download invoices
Click View invoices on the billing page to open your invoice history. Each invoice lists its number, date, amount, and status. Open an invoice in a new tab, or download the PDF. A date range filter helps you find past invoices quickly.
Cancel your subscription
Click Manage subscription to open the Stripe billing portal, where you can cancel. Your subscription stays active until the end of the current billing period, and the billing page then shows the date your access runs until.
Resume a cancelled subscription
When a cancellation is scheduled but the billing period has not yet ended, the billing page shows a Resubscribe option so you can reactivate your plan without interruption.
What happens when access ends
If a trial runs out, or a cancelled subscription reaches the end of its paid period, ISO Mate stops serving that organization’s records until there is an active subscription again. Nothing is deleted. Your issues, tests, documents, and history stay exactly as they were, and they are all there again the moment you subscribe.
What remains available is chosen so that you can always resolve the situation, or leave on your own terms:
- Signing in: everybody can still sign in as normal.
- Billing: the billing page, the Stripe portal, and your invoice history all stay open.
- Other organizations: you can switch to any other organization you belong to, and its access is unaffected. The block applies to one organization, never to your user.
- Invitations: pending invitations can still be viewed and accepted.
- Your profile: your own profile, password, language, and security settings stay editable.
- Your data: you can request a full data export, and you can delete the account, without subscribing first.
API tokens and MCP clients follow the same rule with one refinement: they can still list the tools available to them and read records, but anything that would create, update, or delete is refused until the subscription is active. See Connecting via the MCP Server.
Handle payment issues
If a payment fails, Stripe retries it automatically and your billing contacts receive email notifications. The billing page shows a grace period warning with an Update payment method button that opens the billing portal, so you can fix the payment method before access is affected.
A failed payment does not lock anybody out while those retries are still running. Your organization keeps working normally throughout the grace period, which is the window to update the card. Only if the retries are exhausted and the subscription ends does the situation above apply.
