Customizing Your Dashboard

Personalize Your Dashboard

ISO Mate’s dashboard is fully customizable. You can choose which widgets to display, arrange them in any order, resize them, and apply role-based templates for a quick setup.

Entering Edit Mode

  1. Click the Customize button in the dashboard header.
  2. The dashboard enters edit mode, showing drag handles on each widget.
  3. Drag widgets to reorder them.
  4. Click the size toggle icon on a widget to switch between half-width and full-width.
  5. Click Save Layout to save your changes, or Cancel to discard them.

Toggling Widgets On and Off

  1. In edit mode, click Advanced to open the customization dialog.
  2. The Widgets tab shows all available widgets with toggle switches.
  3. Turn widgets on or off using the toggle. Widgets you lack permission for are grayed out.
  4. Drag widgets in the list to change their order.
  5. Click Save to apply your changes.

Applying a Template

  1. Open the customization dialog (Customize, then Advanced).
  2. Switch to the Templates tab.
  3. Browse the seven available templates: Developer, QA Engineer, Support Agent, Compliance Officer, Sales Rep, Manager, and All Widgets.
  4. Each template card shows which widgets it includes.
  5. Click Apply on your chosen template. This replaces your current layout.

Setting Up Auto-Refresh

  1. Click the auto-refresh button next to the Refresh button in the header.
  2. Select an interval: Off, 5 minutes, 15 minutes, or 30 minutes.
  3. When active, a countdown shows the time until the next refresh.
  4. Auto-refresh pauses automatically when you switch to another browser tab and resumes when you return.

Collapsing and Expanding Widgets

Each widget has a chevron icon in its header. Click it to collapse the widget to just its title bar. Click again to expand. Collapsed widgets do not load data until expanded, which can improve page performance if you have many widgets enabled.

Keyboard Shortcuts

The dashboard supports keyboard shortcuts for quick actions:

  • R: Refresh all widgets
  • E: Enter or exit edit mode
  • Esc: Exit edit mode without saving
  • ?: Show or hide the keyboard shortcuts overlay

Shortcuts are disabled when a dialog is open or when you are typing in an input field.

Resetting to Default

To restore the default dashboard layout, open the customization dialog and click Reset to Default. This enables all widgets you have permission for in the default order.
